This latest incident with the HVAC system wasn’t their fault and I’m even more confused about the company footing the bill for all the repairs as well as the lease of the temporary space at TBIT. This entire LAX venture has been a disaster for Amex and I feel sorry for them. Maybe it makes limited sense if you’re going there from the American Airlines Terminal (T4) but other than that I’d pass. While TBIT is accessible from other terminals through the interlink walkways one should note that LAX is a monster of an airport and that it’s hardly worth it to walk all the way to this terminal and back just to spend time at the Centurion Lounge. The evening/night departures are out of luck though. One might note the limited opening hours of this lounge as it closes at 4:30pm which should however cover most of the international departures that go through TBIT during the day. Accessible from Delta Terminal 2 and 3 via airside bus.Above-ground walkways between Terminals 6, 7, and 8.Underground tunnel between Terminals 4, 5 and 6.Overground passage between Terminal 4 and the Tom Bradley International Terminal.TBIT is accessible airside from Terminals 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Take the elevator from Level 4 to Level 2. The Centurion® Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport is located in Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT).Īfter clearing TSA in TBIT, walk towards the bridge to the Great Hall and enter the elevator lobby on your left. You can access the temporary lounge information here on the Centurion Lounge site:

The expectation based on the temp space lease duration was that by late September / early October it should be fixed up but to everyone’s surprise, the lounge now opened last week.

American Express has started to look for an alternative location to at least provide their members something as the frustration is growing following a full year of the Centurion Lounge being closed.
